Clipstone Miners Welfare Youth Club and young volunteers

Clipstone Volunteers.

Active4Today, Newark and Sherwood District Councils preferred Leisure and Sports Development Operator, have been working with Clipstone Miners Welfare Youth Club and their young volunteers to provide excellent sports sessions in the village.

Over the last 5 weeks, matt Snee, the Club and Coach Development Officer, has been training the young volunteers at the Youth Club to develop their skills as sports leaders. The young volunteers have been leading Football, Cricket, Rounders, Boccia, Tennis and many other sports. The volunteers have been signed up to Active4Todat's VISPA scheme which rewards the hours undertaken with rizes. The pictures enclosed are from the presentation on Wednesday 7 June 2017, which was the last day of National Volunteers Week.
